Enhancing the cultural knowledge of healthcare professionals and policymakers and monitoring the cyclical patterns of pharmaceutical expenditure and consumption.

The COSIsiFA project, funded by AIFA as part of Pharmacovigilance research, 2015-2016-2017 funds, is dedicated to the implementation of a multi-regional study involving three operational units: the Reference Center – Regional Pharmacovigilance Center of Campania, Regional Reference Center for Clinical Pharmacology, and CIRFF.

The study will be non-interventional, aimed at enhancing the cultural knowledge of healthcare professionals and policymakers. CIRFF will coordinate and collaborate with “WP1: Pediatrics,” “WP2: Oncology,” “WP3: Antibiotic Resistance,” and “WP4: Chronicity/Polymedication” to define clinical questions based on its expertise. Additionally, collaboration will occur with “WP8: Systematic Reviews” in defining clinical questions for conducting meta-analyses and systematic reviews. Finally, the collaboration will extend to “WP7: Training” for the development of interventions and training events related to disseminating scientific evidence arising from the cyclical monitoring of drug expenditure and consumption.
