A blood-based biomarker approach for the optimization of treatment with immune-checkpoint inhibitors in solid tumors

The project is financed by MIUR funds within the framework of research projects of significant national interest (PRIN), Call for Proposals 2017. Six operational Units are involved in the activities, led by the University of Pisa. The common objective is to study the use of blood biomarkers in immunotherapy for the personalisation of treatment of solid tumors, also assessing aspects of economic sustainability.

CIRFF, together with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa, contributes to the WP of economic evaluations.
