Educational and Informative Interventions to Tackle Inappropriate Use of Drugs in Italy – EDU.RE DRUG

The EDU.RE.DRUG project is funded by AIFA within the framework of independent research on drugs, Call for Proposals 2016. It is a multiregional study involving three operating Units: SEFAP of the University of Milan, Milano BICOCCA University and CIRFF.

It is a non-interventional study addressed to general practitioners and their patients in two different settings: Campania Region and Lombardy Region. The main objective is to investigate the prescription practice among general practitioners in order to highlight the most frequent occurrences of inappropriate prescribing and with the ultimate goal of implementing ad hoc solutions for doctors and patients.
